Ah, I see that the old Soviet system, vanguard democracy, is still in effect in the DPRK.
This is still a better system than liberal democracy, where oligarchs make it impossible to choose a non-corrupt candidate that doesn’t do the bidding of the oligarchs after lying throughout the entire candidacy. And that’s by design.

But this system has been superseded by China’s layered voting system, I believe introduced by Deng Xiaoping.
